The Hague Convention on international process service allows for service of papers from US courts on Defendants within England or Wales without fee. The procedure is simple: you send the completed Hague paperwork and court papers to our Central Authority at the High Court in London, they oversee service through our courts system and send the Hague certificate of service back to you.

However, experience has shown that the procedure can be full of uncertainty and delay. Those involved in regular Hague Convention serves this long established way will tell tales of:

  • Papers lost in the system for months on end
  • Papers coming back unserved for no explained reason
  • Papers coming back unserved for seemingly wrong reasons
